Ross G. Anderson, Architect, AIA
I was born in Billings, Montana and my main interests growing up were art and engineering. These two interests led me to pursue the study of architecture at Montana State University.
After graduation, I decided to explore life and architecture in Seattle, Washington. After a two-year internship designing timber frame homes in the Puget Sound area, I returned to Montana to start my practice and raise a family with my wife Sandy.
I have been working in the field of architecture in Whitefish since 1992, operating my own local firm since 1996.
I love living in the natural beauty of Montana, enjoying my four children and designing beautiful homes one at a time.
A Few DOs & DON’Ts of Working With Me
I Don’t have multiple jobs that interfere with current projects. I am a “hands on” architect who will be there throughout the entire process and facilitate any issues that normally arise during construction.
I Do live in the community I serve. This makes it great to personally know the sub-contractors, suppliers, inspectors, and builders who will be a part of your project.
I Do value open and honest communication and encourage creativity, teamwork and open collaboration.
I Do answer my own phone.
I Don’t ever create designs just for me.
I Don’t hand off your building project to another person. I am the lead principal architect for all my projects.
I Do design for you.
